The New Ford Vehicle Communication Module 3 (Ford VCM 3) is the latest generation of the Ford IDS & GFDRS Vehicle Communication Interface supporting all current European production vehicles and future-proofed with CAN-FD and DoIP communication protocols. The VCM3 features a new backup capacitor keeping the VCI powered up during low voltage conditions.*

Vehicles Coverage

VCM III will support all current Ford European production vehicles (including New Ka).

Whilst every attempt has been made to support all legacy vehicles, the following previous models, due to their aging and unique vehicle protocols are not supported:
